REGISTERED EARLY CHILDHOOD EDUCATOR AND CHILD CARE ASSISTANTS
We are seeking 6-8 new full-time Registered Early Childhood Educators (RECE) & Child Care Assistants for our expanding preschool. Staff work with children aged 12 months-6 years engaging through play, interactions and creative experiences. This role plans and implements age-appropriate activities based on the ‘How Does Learning Happen’ framework and works cooperatively with other staff. Follows the school year schedule – Christmas, March Break and Summers off.
RECE – $26-28/hr
Child Care Assistant – $21-23/hr
Job Requirements:
- Standard First Aid & Level C CPR Certificate
- Vulnerable Sector Check (last 6 mths)
- Up-to-date immunizations
- Knowledge of CCEYA and/or experience with children
- Flexible with work assignments as needed
- Mon-Fri from 8:00-4:00 based on staffing needs
